My Discussion With the Intellectual Property Enforcement Coordinator

I had the pleasure of calling up Thomas L. Stoll, the Intellectual Property Enforcement Coordinator today, and was able to get him to clear up the intent on the public document issued by his office outlined in the previous entry. I asked him the intents of his office to reform copyright, and patents.

Today Paypal has frozen the assets of popular whistleblowing website Wikileaks.org.

On December 25th, 2009 an explosive device carried by Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab failed to properly detonate aboard Northwest Airlines Flight 253 as it was approaching Detroit. No lives were lost and Abdulmutallab was placed in custody and is being charged with placing a destructive device in proximity to and attempting to destroy a US civil aircraft.

Apparently in honor of me joining the Pirate Party Wizards of the Coast decided to sue 8 people for uploading a scanned copy of the 4th ed PhB2. I have to say I applaud their tact. Probably a coincidence they filed the suite right about the same time I joined PPUS.
